Polish Blooms is an 18 x 24 inch oil painting on canvas featuring five softly rounded, imagined flowers – gray, pink, blue – surrounded by delicate leaves in layered green, brown, and yellow. Set against a deep black background, this piece carries a quiet strength and a layered softness.

What began as an experiment in form and color grew into something more personal: a tribute to my Polish heritage and to my father, an artist at heart who never had the chance to fully pursue his creative path. Though we live in different states and see each other rarely, this painting feels like a thread of connection between us – a silent offering of what was passed down, even without words.

It’s also about reclaiming identity – blooming in your own way, despite being misunderstood or underestimated. A painting rooted in memory, resilience, and quiet love between a daughter and her father.
