A Place to Bloom is a 30×40 inch oil painting that welcomes you into a lush, colorful greenhouse. Flowers in every color spill from baskets and garden beds. A walkway leads through the space, guiding the eye toward a peaceful fountain just beyond the doorway.

While inspired by a reference photo, the painting became something uniquely my own – a sensory sanctuary filled with imagined scents, warmth, and quiet.

As someone who works with children and teens, I have seen how certain sensory environments – rich with color, gentle sound, or scent – can offer comfort, especially for those with special needs. A Place to Bloom honors that kind of peace: immersive, vibrant, and deeply grounding.
